A cancer diagnosis is hard on anyone, however people of working age are faced with an array of questions relating to their work, their potential entitlements and also the ‘what if’ questions.
I’ve got cancer – cancer hasn’t got me! I didn’t coin this phrase – my friend Sophie Sabbage the author of the Cancer Whisperer did. But it seems so very apt for this post.
We have all been there, one of our key team members fell ill with burn out, stress, spine injury, cancer. We rotate, reassign their duties, adjust deadlines if that’s even possible and get into a mood of “I must ensure the project gets out the door on time” and ” everybody can be replaced”
